This week was full of fun since it was Halloween! My first grade students used chalk to create skeletons. They added special touches to make the skeletons unique. After drawing, the students gave their skeletons names and wrote about what they like to do on Halloween night. I love their creativity!
Every Thursday, we practice spelling words. These words are often sight words that will help the students with reading. This week, we did some hands-on learning by using the letter tiles. The students enjoyed the challenge of finding their letters and rearranging them to create new words.
